Production Process (Stages of Micropropagation)

Stage 0

Selection of elite mother plant

Stage 1: Initiation

Explant (shoot tip/meristem) surface sterilized and placed on MS medium

Stage 2: Multiplication

Multiple shoots induced using cytokinins (BAP). Multiplication rate: 3-5x per subculture (every 4 weeks)

Stage 3: Rooting

Shoots transferred to medium with auxin (IBA/NAA)

Stage 4: Hardening

Plantlets transferred to pro-trays with cocopeat in shade net for 4-6 weeks
