The Agronomy Department at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Pal (Jalgaon-I) plays a vital role in enhancing agricultural productivity through the promotion of scientific crop production practices. The department focuses on the assessment, refinement, and demonstration of location-specific agronomic technologies suited to the agro-climatic conditions of the region.

It works closely with farmers to improve crop yield, soil health, and resource-use efficiency by promoting practices such as integrated nutrient management, water management, weed control, and sustainable farming techniques.

The department conducts FLDs and OFTs to evaluate new technologies and crop varieties under real farming conditions. Regular training programs, field days, and awareness campaigns are organized to transfer knowledge and build farmers' capacity.
