Extraction Process (Step-by-Step)
Harvest & Strip
Harvest pseudostem after fruit cutting (8-10 months). Strip outer sheaths layer by layer (10-15 sheaths per stem)
Feed into Machine
Feed each wet sheath into raspador machine between serrated rollers. Machine scrapes away pith and non-fibrous tissue
Collect Fiber
Fiber emerges from other side; collect in basket
Wash
Wash fiber in clean water to remove residual sap
Drying
Spread on bamboo mats or cement floor in shade for 1-2 days
Packaging
Pack dried fiber in gunny bags (250-500g each)
