The Animal Production Department of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Pal works to improve livestock productivity, profitability, and sustainability among farmers through scientific animal husbandry practices. The department serves as a bridge between research institutions and livestock farmers by transferring modern technologies related to dairy, goat, sheep, poultry, and fodder production. KVK Pal was established under the aegis of ICAR in 1984 and functions as a multidisciplinary farm science centre for rural and tribal communities.
